David and Eliza came together in 2001 and since have been sharing their experiences of their spiritual journey to help others deepen their knowledge of themselves and timeless wisdom teachings.
Eliza drew upon David’s skills when designing and creating the Meditation Centre and he became a trustee and supported her in her role as Director and meditation teacher. When she left in 2013, they went on a year long retreat in southern Spain where they began researching the Aramaic teachings of Yeshua. This inspired them to visit sacred sites in Britain, Palestine and southern France and find out more about the Western Mystery Tradition.
At the same time they began exploring Earth Energies in the West Country and the Lake District, knowing that the Heart chakra of the world is centred here in Great Britain. This led to them creating a video story titled: The Spiritual Significance of the Lake District (see below)
In 2025 Eliza returned to being the Director of the Meditation Centre again and now shares her journey through Sacred Meditation Courses both at the Centre and Online through the Sacred Meditation App.
David continues to support her, but has returned to his passion of making acoustic guitars.

I’ve been exploring spiritual paths in the East and West and teaching meditation all my adult life.
My search began in my late teens when I was suffering from anorexia and realized there were expanded states of consciousness that we could all experience.
When I learned to meditate in 1971, this became a reality and all I wanted to do is to share this wisdom with others, so I did an intensive training to teach spiritual practices.
From then on my search shifted to reconnecting with my Heart so that I could remember the Truth of I Am – and this is what I love to share today.

My early exposure to the Church left me with more questions than answers and prompted my lifelong quest for Truth. After exploring different spiritual traditions my focus shifted away from belief systems to self-enquiry and reached deep within myself to begin healing my own patterns of wounding. It was then that I realized that mystical, universal teachings lie at the heart of all spiritual traditions, which led to Eliza and I founding Sacred Meditation so we could share these simple, timeless truths.
